This poster is the result of photo exploration. Rather than communicating the idea of 'Cytoskeleton' with an actual image, I've taken photo reliefs of anti-bacterial lotion. After developing these reliefs, I manipulated the image in Photoshop, changing a mundane image to an other-worldly specimen.
I implemented type in a way that would not overwhelm the viewer or compete with such a dominant image. Avenir and Sentinel worked well together in communicating the definition of the subject matter: Avenir with a lean, crisp weight, and sentinel with comfortable readability in the lightest weight.
